MARCOGAZ is happy to announce that our Secretary General Manuel Coxe will be speaking at the World Hydrogen Congress, on 4-6 October 2021, in Amsterdam (PTA Congress Centre).
Mr Coxe will be delivering an address at the Gas Grid Panel: Decarbonising the gas grid & building the hydrogen backbone: connecting future hydrogen supply & demand centres.
The panel will discuss the opportunities and constraints of converting 100% ultra-low hydrogen, regulatory hurdles to overcome in order to ensure investor certainty and retrofitting pipelines. The agenda of the panel will also feature discussions on the strategic day to day impact of moving away from business-as-usual in network planning and market design, overcoming cross border challenges, and inclusion of the gas distribution as part of the H2 economy.
Mr Coxe will elaborate on the question of to what extent the existing gas system is suitable for hydrogen as well as the technical opportunities and challenges the existing gas system offers for hydrogen injection.
