MARCOGAZ Response on ACER’s Public Consultation on Amendments to the Gas Network Code on Interoperability and Data Exchange

This document presents MARCOGAZ’s response to ACER’s public consultation on potential amendments to the Gas Network Code on Interoperability and Data Exchange (INT NC). The response addresses key topics including gas quality, liability provisions in Interconnection Agreements and data exchange processes, with a particular focus on maintaining interoperability, security of supply and flexibility within the evolving European gas market.
The paper also examines the implementation of the revised EN 16726 standard, the integration of renewable and low-carbon gases, and the role of existing operational and contractual frameworks in supporting efficient cross-border gas flows and system cooperation across Europe.
