The World Energy Congress, established a century ago, stands as the longest-running energy event, significantly influencing the global energy landscape. In the midst of today’s unpredictable, turbulent, and rapidly changing world, the 26th World Energy Congress set to unfold in Rotterdam is anticipated to be the most crucial energy gathering of the coming decade.

Distinguished as the sole global energy event hosting 150+ C-suite speakers, 70+ Ministers, and engaging 7,000+ international energy stakeholders, the Congress facilitates high-level government-to-government dialogue while bringing together businesses and communities of varied sizes and backgrounds. Spanning four days, this event transcends sectors, geographies, generations, and systems, aiming to expedite, make fairer, and broaden the scope of energy transitions.

Aligned with the theme ‘Redesigning energy for people and planet,’ the Congress boasts an impact-oriented content program comprising 60+ sessions. These sessions draw on the collective insights and experiences of the Council’s unique global network of over 3,000 member organizations spanning more than 100 countries. Co-hosted by the World Energy Council and the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, the event is scheduled to take place from April 22 to April 25, 2024. This edition holds special significance as it marks the 100th anniversary of the Council’s formation and the inaugural World Energy Congress.
