MARCOGAZ is excited to present its 6th Tech Forum, a virtual webinar offering valuable insights into Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) quality.

This webinar will delve into the latest MARCOGAZ publication on this crucial topic: “Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) quality database” and will also address the role of LNG quality when designing industrial gas appliances.

Due to the lack of a public database on LNG quality, MARCOGAZ collected and shared data from its members operating LNG terminals. This data covers only cargos arriving from liquefaction terminals and includes parameters such as composition, calorific value, Wobbe index, relative density, and Methane number under ISO conditions. It reflects LNG quality upon arrival in Europe, acknowledging that composition may change during transport and storage, although reliquefaction units on modern carriers help maintain stability.

Accurate data is essential to ensure appliances are designed to handle diverse gas qualities, maintaining performance and safety across different markets.
