In recent decades, the gas industry has concentrated on exploring new gases, including hydrogen, to align with Europe’s decarbonization and sustainable development goals. This technical note aims to provide an overview of the health effects of hydrogen and natural gas, offering a comparison between the two. The document seeks to raise awareness on this topic. Health-related data for methane has been used to represent natural gas, as it is the primary component of natural gas.
